Combination Neuromuscular Therapy, Therapeutic and Orthopedic Massage, and Facilitated Stretching

A combined massage that uses neuromusculat therapy, therapeutic and orthopedic massage, and facilitated stretching.  By using these various combined techniques, I can better treat specific areas of the body or specific medical conditions and manipulate the body's soft tissues, such as the muscles, ligaments, tendons, and fascia; to help reduce muscle tension, chronic pain, improve range of motion, stress-related issues, and correct postural imbalances by manual manipulation of the body's tissues.   I will work with you to create the most effective treatment plan that addresses your specific needs by using the information you provide from your intake form and our discussion before your massage treatment.

$50.00 per 30 minutes; $80.00 per 60 minutes; $115.00 per 90 minutes

Treatment Session:

I will use a combination of therapeutic and neuromuscular therapy, orthopedic massage, manual therapy, and facilitated stretching during each 15 minute increment service treatment sessions.

Steps to Begin Your Car Accident Insurance or Medical Insurance Treatment:

1) Contact your auto insurance company or medical insurance company to verify that "Medically Necessary Therapeutic Massage" is a covered service.

2) Go to your doctor to be examined.  If your doctor feels therapeutic massage therapy is medically necessary for your recovery, ask to receive a "Prescription" and/or a "Referral" stating that "Therapeutic Massage Therapy is Medically Necessary; diagnosis and order name showing DX number with description of injury and areas affected; and number of treatment session per week for number of weeks deemed necessary by massage therapist".

3) Once coverage is approved, please contact your auto insurance company or medical insurance company to get "Your Claim Number" and your "Case Managers Name".

YOU MUST HAVE A VALID PHYSICIANS MEDICAL AND/OR REFERRAL PRESCIPTION AS WELL AS CLAIM INFORMATION BEFORE SCHEDULING YOUR APPOINTMENT.  PLEASE BE SURE TO HAVE THIS INFORMATION AVAILABLE SO I CAN EXPEDITE THE PROCESS AND GET YOU SCHEDULED AND SET UP WITH A TREATMENT PLAN AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE SO AS NOT TO DELAY YOUR HEALING.

4) Please give me a call to schedule your initial evaluation appointment.  Please bring along to your evaluation appointment your "Insurance Claim Number" and "Case Managers Name", a "Doctors Prescription and/or Referral" and your "Auto Insurance Information" or "Medical Insurance Information".  After your initial evaluation, a customized treatment plan will be created.  If required, the customized treatment plan will be sent to your auto insurance carrier or medical insurance carrier, and the referring Physician for evaluation or approval.

5) Your appointments will be scheduled according to the customized treament plan and/or approval from your insurance company and Physician.  Please note at the end of your customized treatment plan a re-evaluation of your progress may need to be submitted to your insurance company and Physician to determine future treatments.

$30.00 per 15 minute increment service (increment services will range from a total of 2 to 6 per treatment session).

Lymphatic Massage

This massage is a technique used to help increase lymph flow throughout the body which removes harmful toxins from the tissues and increases immune function to help your lymph system work better for more long-term health benefits.  The lymphatic systems is made up of lymph vessels and lymph nodes.  Lymph vessels are a clear, watery fluid found throughout the body and are located just below the skin. Lymph nodes are clusters found in the neck, armpit and groin area, and along the lymphatic pathway in the chest, abdomen and pelvis area.  The treatment uses hand pressure that is a very subtle/light feathering stroke in a rhythmic motion (starting with the feet and moving upward towards the heart) to stimulate the lymph system to help move the lymph fluid back to the heart.  The lymphatic system is our immune or sanitation system.  When our lymph system works well, we feel healthy because we have a strong defense against illness.  When our lymph system is sluggish or blocked (i.e., severe illnesss, from surgery or an injury, cemo or radiation therapy, etc.) lymph nodes may become swellen and cogested which will make you feel tired and more susceptible to various cold virus's and upper respritory infections.  This massage is very beneficial for those getting over a common cold (see note below in red); pre-surgery to open up lymph flow; recovering from an illness or post-surgery as it can speed up the recovery process; edema; chronic fatigue syndrome; fibromylgia; sluggish or congested immune system; lack of energy and more.  I recommend receiving a lymphatic massage at the change of every season to help cleanse your body's tissues, to keep your system clean (i.e., different foods are eaten, activity levels change, fluctuation of weather temperatures, etc.).

$80.00 per 60 minutes
